RM 006 Felipe Massa Richard Mille: This was the first watch produced through this collaboration, and it was the first to test a nano-carbon fiber baseplate, representing an innovation in watchmaking materials.

RM 009 Felipe Massa Richard Mille: Launched in 2005, this watch featured a case made from ALUSIC® material used in satellites, and an aluminum-lithium alloy movement baseplate. At the time, it was the lightest tourbillon watch, weighing only 29 grams without the strap.

RM 011 Felipe Massa Richard Mille...: Released in 2007, this is an automatic flyback chronograph watch powered by the RMAC1 movement, featuring complications such as flyback chronograph and annual calendar. The Valjoux 72 was used in the actual exotic dial Paul Newman Daytonas, so you get a nice little blast from the past there, and then Nivada's got you on the exotic dials as link well – those funny little subdials with the square indexes that tickle the brainstem of any vintage watch enthusiast.

F.P. Journe is always another big lot at Only Watch, as the watchmaker uses the bi-annual event to introduce a new movement. This time around, Journe used the occasion to introduce the new caliber 1522 with a power reserve and moonphase on the back. Journe featured the caliber in the tantalum Chronometre Bleu Furtif that sold for CHF 2 million. It's a strong result for Journe, but that the Rexhepi had a slightly higher result is just link a testament to how quickly the latter's star has risen.
