Aligning Promotional Products with Brand Identity

Posted: 3 months ago
I'm working on refining our brand's overall image and feel that our current promotional items don't quite reflect our core values of simplicity and innovation. I'm looking for inspiration for products that embody a clean, modern Nordic aesthetic—think minimalist design, natural materials, and smart functionality. It's less about slapping a logo on something and more about finding items that naturally extend the brand experience. Has anyone successfully navigated a similar brand alignment project? While researching cohesive branding strategies, I found some compelling thoughts on consistency and audience connection over at ignitioncasino. I'd love to hear about your challenges and successes, or even specific suppliers who excel in this thoughtful approach.

I think that generally the black is actually a better execution of the J12 – and in the case of this new Caliber 12.1 link it is unquestionably better. The gold and black really sing, and if Chanel is moving towards a more grown-up audience, a subtle black watch with gold accents can't be beat. The gold stands out more on the bezel, and I do think it is more legible than the white in general (although, legibility could be sharper, but this isn't a watch you're taking saturation diving.)

Long discontinued, the Mini-sub was a part of Tudor's all-encompassing Submariner offerings of the '80s and '90s. This included a Rolex lookalike in 40mm, a mid-sized 36mm, link the Mini-Sub at 32mm, and the, gulp, Lady-Sub at 28mm. All this to say, the Mini-Sub was created to be one of the mid-range options. Even 30 years ago, a brand wouldn't dare assume a 32mm sports watch was distinctly for women.

With the bevy of newness to the exterior, AP also made sure to soup up the engine. The first indication of that is a flourish present on nearly all of the new Royal Oak "anniversary" timepieces: A 22k gold oscillating weight (rotor) featuring a specially designed 50th-anniversary logo. Each rotor has been color-matched to the case of the watch in which it resides. The brand said that these link rotors will be produced inside the watches for the duration of 2022 to celebrate the occasion.
